Hi! We’re Liz and Jen – a.k.a. Liddabit Sweets, based in Brooklyn, NY. We make candy bars, lollipops, brittles, and other delicious sweets using the freshest seasonal ingredients that we procure from other small, local producers. Everything we produce is completely handmade, hand-dipped, and hand-wrapped, from our luscious caramels to our airy honeycomb candy – and our packaging is compostable too! Taste the difference that skill, fine ingredients, and a Liddabit of love can make.

Our Story
Jen King and Liz Gutman met and became friends while attending pastry school at the French Culinary Institute in New York City. Realizing a shared passion for fine ingredients and practicing a wide range of skills, the pair started selling handmade candy bars and caramels at the famed Brooklyn Flea in May of 2009. Since then, Liddabit’s line of sweets has expanded to change with the seasons, and feature greenmarket produce, fresh Ronnybrook cream, and other local and sustainably produced ingredients.We have the best job ever. We get to make candy, work with and support other small producers, and be involved in one of the most creative and collaborative communities today.
